Three people were stabbed to death and two others injured in a suspected love affair dispute in Shanghai, the local police said Friday.
Shanghai police received a call Thursday midnight reporting that someone had been stabbed in an apartment in Pudong New District.
Policemen immediately rushed to the site, finding three were killed and two injured.
Initial investigation showed that the suspect was suffering an emotional entanglement with the victims.
